Besides from the nut and bolts and the lockable clips on the central joint, there are added measures for safety. There are specific “tie down” designated areas, 2 in the front and 2 at the back for extra cable ties to be used should it be deemed necessary.

Above and below the gate are a further 4 holes (2 on the top and 2 on the bottom) to secure the gate. It is advisable to cable tie at least one of these for air transportation.

The crates have the standard “carrying” handle holds on each side, molded into the central join. Handles on the top (roof) section – front and back – are used to pull crates when wheels are attached. (Wheels must be removed for all air travel)
